This exercise isolates one normal cascade toss, so you can easily tell whether you release the ball from the inside and let it land in the outside position of the opposite hand. Alternate right and left, comparing mainly the arc’s shape and peak position. Both sides should feel like mirrored versions of the same toss, not different movements. Watch the peak area and see your hands and catches with peripheral vision, avoiding the habit of following one ball with your eyes. Keep your shoulders relaxed and control the height with a smooth forearm lift, not a sharp wrist movement. If the ball drifts forward or its peak keeps changing height, adjust the release direction first. This builds an accurate, repeatable arc into muscle memory for the Cascade.
