Synchronous Two-Ball Toss
DrillAlso known as: Sync Throw
A two-ball drill where both hands throw together in parallel vertical paths, building simultaneous timing for Columns and synchronous patterns.
Throw sequence
This drill isolates the moment both balls leave your hands together while staying in two separate vertical paths. Do not just check whether they land together; watch for one ball rising earlier or drifting toward the center. Use the same short throwing motion with both hands, and keep your palms ready in their original positions for the catches so you do not pull the paths together. If the hands lose synchronization, return to single repetitions, stop completely after each catch, and compare which hand starts the movement. The goal is to avoid consciously trying to “start” both hands together. This coordination later carries over to Two-Ball Columns and other synchronous patterns where both hands must keep the same timing.
