Columns

Columns is one of the cleanest-looking tricks in juggling. Three balls travel in straight vertical lines, giving the pattern a very controlled, mechanical appearance.

The structure

  • Two outer columns: one ball each, going straight up and down
  • One middle column: one ball going up as the outer balls come down

Why learn it

Columns builds great vertical throw control and sets the stage for many other visual tricks.
